We are a family-run, farm-based operation - Something unique in the current world of huge impersonal companies. As horse owners, we understand the importance of the overall health of your horse. We are accessible and we care. Our dedicated team offers yard visits, progress reports for weight maintenance and individually tailored feeding advice. We are passionate about the products we produce and this is evident in the results they have on horses, their performance and their overall condition.

Farm-based is where we come from. We've always lived on the farm, that gives us our roots and then the family gives us our identity. Family is something we are passionate about and our business in Spurwing is a family business.

PHILOSOPHY

We produce a premium range of high fibre, grain-free and grain-inclusive horse feed products in our dedicated horse feed mill. We only manufacture horse feeds and will not jeopardize the health of your horse by allowing products in our factory that are not safe for horses. We put quality at the heart of everything we do, and source only the best raw materials for your horse’s feed. The Cape’s finest Lucerne, oat hay, red grass, bran and grain, as well as the very best vitamins and minerals are stringently sourced and quality tested for our horse feed. Spurwing Horse Feed rations have been used by many with success over the years and continue to rapidly gain market share.
